Hork's Diary

Hork's diary consists of a series of crude etchings into a discoloured wooden plank. While undoubtedly unintelligible to most creatures other than herself (and at times, perhaps herself as well) you are able to apply your knowledge of your hulking companion and recent adventures to glean some sense of her narrative. Deep vertical gashes in the wood serve to punctuate her entries.

Ch 1: The Journey to Darktower

  • Hork holding hands with a dwarf.
  • It disturbs you to think so, but this etching seems to be of a heart. Red lipstick smears.

Ch 2: Saving Uncle Kiro

  • The wood is more discoloured here: another heart, with many stab marks.
  • Hork fighting large vines with her axe.
  • A fist and a pile of humanoids. A mug of ale?

Ch 3: Crazy Like A Wendigo

  • Hork's axe and several depictions of wolves heads.
  • Hork decapitating the Wendigo.

Ch 4: Goblins on Giant Spiders

  • Hork standing on a pile of bleeding sturges.
  • Hork slicing through multiple "small" giant spiders in one stroke.
  • Hork fighting a giant spider.

Ch 5: The Wizard's Tower

  • Hork standing on a pile of dead sturges, and crushing more in her hands.
  • Hork holding a large, bodiless head.
  • Hork kicking a sword and snapping a poker simultaneously.
  • Hork's axe and a small figure inside a circle.
  • Hork with her axe, infront of small figures encased in squares.

Ch 6: Behind Enemy Lines

  • Hork, some vertical lines, and some ray-like lines eminating from Hork.
  • Hork, apparently throwing a dragon.
  • Hork's face with deeply etched lips and very long eyelashes. A tiara. Several small figures - aka companions.
  • Hork's axe and an ogre head.
  • Some cranky looking scribbles.
  • More crankly scribbes.
  • The small figures.
  • Some strange swirling scribbles and stab marks.
  • Hork's axe and five heads.
  • A fish.
  • Hork carrying two small figures inside a circle.

Ch 7: The Crypt of Oglibyet

  • Hork carrying an ettin above her head.
  • Hork slicing multiple ghouls in half in a single swing.
  • Hork carrying a large door.
  • Hork flying with one arm outstretched, the other clutching three small figures.
  • Hork, her axe, and a thing with really long fingernails.

Unfortuantely, during Hork's next adventure, and before having the change to record any recent happenings, a destrachan destroyed her plank wood diary. Having a mind not unlike a goldfish's - Hork has not yet noticed that it's missing, or though of "writing" any entries.
